Privacy & Cookie Policy
Last updated: 11 July 2026
This policy explains what personal data SeoReach processes, which cookies we set, why we set them, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to seoreach.io and all pages under it.
1. Who we are
SeoReach is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us about anything privacy-related at support@seoreach.io.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are required for the site to function; others are used only with your consent, for analytics or advertising. Below is the complete list of cookies used on SeoReach, grouped by the categories you see in our cookie banner.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for core functionality — signing in, protecting forms from abuse, and remembering your cookie choices. They are set on the legal basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functional website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) and cannot be switched off.
| Cookie | Provider | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| cookie_consent | SeoReach (first-party) | 12 months | Stores which cookie categories you allowed or rejected. |
| access_token | SeoReach (first-party) | 24 hours | Keeps you signed in to your account. Set only after you sign in. |
| _GRECAPTCHA | Google (google.com) | 6 months | Google reCAPTCHA — protects sign-up, sign-in and contact forms from bots. |
4. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
If you allow the Analytics category, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use SeoReach — which pages are read, where visits come from, what works and what doesn't. Usage data, including your truncated IP address and pseudonymous identifiers, is shared with Google. If you reject this category, these cookies are never set.
| Cookie | Provider | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics (first-party) | 2 years | Distinguishes visitors with a random pseudonymous ID. |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics (first-party) | 2 years | Keeps session state for Google Analytics 4. |
5. Marketing cookies (only with your consent)
If you allow the Marketing category, Google Ads cookies are used to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns and to personalize ads. This involves sharing data with Google. If you reject this category, these cookies are never set and Google receives no advertising signals from your visit.
Depending on the campaigns running, Google may set additional advertising cookies (for example _gcl_aw or IDE); they all serve the same purposes described here and are controlled by the same Marketing toggle.
| Cookie | Provider | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Google Ads (first-party) | 3 months | Stores ad-click information to measure ad conversions. |
6. Managing your consent
On your first visit a banner lets you accept all, reject all, or pick categories. Nothing optional is set before you choose. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time — click “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page. Withdrawing is as easy as consenting and takes effect immediately for future processing.
Your choice is stored for 12 months, after which we ask again. We also ask again if this policy changes in a way that affects the meaning of your consent. You can additionally delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.
7. International data transfers
Google Analytics, Google Ads and reCAPTCHA are provided by Google Ireland Ltd. and Google LLC (USA). Transfers of personal data to the USA rely on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is certified, complemented by EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Other data we process
Account data: when you register we process your email address, name and password hash to provide the service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Contact form: we process the details you submit to answer your request. Payments: card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Server logs: our infrastructure records IP addresses and request metadata for a short period for security and troubleshooting (Art. 6(1)(f)).
9. Retention
Account data is kept while your account exists and deleted after account deletion, except where law requires longer retention (e.g. invoicing). Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for up to 14 months. Consent records are kept for as long as needed to demonstrate that consent was given.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw any consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@seoreach.io.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version. For material changes affecting your consent, the cookie banner will ask for your choice again.
